The principles
The principles of this Maternity
Units
Sentinel
Network are:
- the volontary service.
- the inclusion of public and private maternity units from all over of France.
- the setting-up of a centralised file. by sending a sub-file containing the deliveries of each maternity unit to a centralising service
- the limitation of the data to the deliveries of each month of January only, preventing the maternity unit data from being analysed
from the centralised service. This resctriction constitutes the best guarantee that the maternity units results
are not given to any administrative service.
- the feedback of the data to the maternity units every year in december,
to compare their own results to the rest the centralised file.
